<--------------!!! (this picture was taken the day after surgery, but almost looked this bad the day after the accident) One leg is not closer to the camera than the other, it is actually that much bigger.
Torn ACL, Meniscus, Damaged MCL, and tore some other piece of cartilage that apparently is important. Unfortunately it wasn't a snowboarding accident. Bicycle Vs. Car. I wasn't the car. I'll be out for the entire season.
sprained my tailbone and had to drive 8 hours back from Utah in a seven person filled tahoe filled with luggage and such. blew. i had to lay/ sit all awkward in between four guys for the entire ride home haha
2 Seasons ago I destroyed my right ankle.....over rotated on a 45 footer and landed hard on my right toe and my ankle just shifted under the pressure. Well no pins or surgery needed but that was my season finished in my 5th lap of the park. But it is good to go for this season still might have bone spurs that I need surgery to remove but I will put it off till the riding season is over then be laid up for the summer.
I broke my collarbone on this really sketchy landing on the 3rd day of the season, rode down the hill to avoid taking a ride of shame in the ski patrol sled, & ended up missing two prime months of snowboarding.
broke my collar bone on my 17th birthday. spent all day in the e.r. and then that night my grandma had a heart-attack. worste birthday ever.
i also wrecked my knee two days before christmas. had surgery the next week and was good to go on my birthday (feb. 2nd). that was a pretty good birthday. somehow when i wrecked my knee i also ran over my thumb so that was fucked.
slipped on some ice on the hill (midwest its more common than not) and got a 2nd degree ice burn on my face. it looked so gnarly.
dislocated both shoulders ridin. those are now fucked too.
basically bad shit happens to me when i do anything. i have a ton more injurys, just not from snowboarding
hey anyone know if tj messed up his knees really bad or if it wasnt so bad. on the lastest snowboard realms..caus he dive bombed that hill and got some mad air.

First my injury stories, a brief history:
-First time ever snowboarding, I fractured my left wrist. Decided I hated boarding, went back to skiing, only to come back to boarding eventually(like 4 years later... wtf was I thinking!?!?)
-badly bruised tailbone during 2nd full season boarding backside boardsliding a rail and board slipped out from under me. this injury plagued me for the rest of the season, and into the next as I kept landing in this one spot.
Secondly, regarding TJ's injury... it looked pretty damn rough, I work at Sunshine and know exactly where this happened, it is a massive drop and he went HUUUUUUUGE off it, and found some serious tranny. I hope TJ is allright though, I am pretty sure that size drop would have killed me twice over.
