I have dislocated both shoulders, one wrestling, the other jumping off a 90 foot cliff (into water). But now that they have both been dislocated I dislocate at least one of the snowboarding every year.

The last one it took the huge ski patrol dude, the doctor, and the doctors assistant over 30 minutes to relocate my shoulder. I had this big dude with his arms around my rib cage pulling in one direction, and the doctor and his assistant pulling in on my arm in the other direction. I asked not to get any meds because they are too expensive, I regretted that about 10 minutes into the human tug of war.

dislocated both shoulders ridin. those are now fucked too.

P.S. Sorry about the gross icon, I'll try and change it soon. Maybe I'll put up some pictures of my knee when it started to bruise.

Oh, and updated status on the knee, they say that unless I die young I will need knee replacement before I die, I didn't chip off important cartilage as I previously said, I actually chipped off part of the bone.

I broke my collarbone on this really sketchy landing on the 3rd day of the season, rode down the hill to avoid taking a ride of shame in the ski patrol sled, & ended up missing two prime months of snowboarding.

Ahahah pretty much same story for me. Broke my collar second day up, missed a month of pretty much the only pow we got all season. At least I dont get medical fees..<3 Canada...<3 Socialism.

Video of shoulder seperating bail
Last weekend my friend Seperated his shoulder, check out the bail in the video.
I did the same thing last year but it was my AC joint and my SC (both ends of my collar bone seperated. AC at the shoulder, SC at the Sternum) It was a bummer and it is all messed up still even with physio.

Just a broken arm in my career. Even though I'b going bigger this year, think I learned the right to fall. Prolly gonna kill myself on handrails this year though.

Well not my injury, but I happened to film a friend doing this (should post it actually, it's kinda gnarly, you can see in slow-mo the second it all goes wrong). Building a big step-up booter in the sidecountry at Sunshine Village - and we got greedy. There was already a 25-30ft gap that stepped up to a windlip which had nice tranny on the other side. So we hit that for a bit. Then the craving for some more air-time had us building a second jump, further down the windlip, that launched into a 40-50ft gap. Bad idea. The jump wasn't big enough, and I kept saying we should build it bigger, but my buddy is so hung over / still drunk he is just going ball-out and givin 'er. So we both don't make it on first attempts, landing in the semi-hard wind-blow powder on the wind-lip. His next attempt he goes straight into the wall of the wind-lip, lands on one knee hard, and goes down for the count. Was able to ride back out, but now he's out for 6-8 weeks with destroyed cartilage in one knee.

Moral of the story: don't bite off more than you can chew :)

I am now out for the season, broke 2 ribs and fractured a 3rd last weekend. Tacoed on a handrail in a competition I already had won doing shit I shouldn't have been doing. Fuck!
